What's Silly Farmers?

A cozy little 3D farming game you can play right in your browser — or download for your desktop. Plant crops, raise gloriously silly animals, automate your farm, and build it all up with friends. No timers, no pressure: just a sunny little world to potter around in.

Grow your farm

Till the soil, plant and water crops, harvest your haul, and sell it to buy more land and fancier seeds.

Gloriously silly animals

Raise cows, chickens, pigs and more — name them, give them little faces, milk the cows… and yes, they fart.

Farm with friends

Jump into a shared world with up to 6 players and build your farm together, live, in real time.

Craft & automate

Build crafting machines and hire farmhands to keep things running while you wander off and explore.

Forage & fish

Head into the woods to forage wild goodies, or cast a line at the pond for a nice relaxing catch.

Seasons & weather

Day turns to night, storms roll through, and the seasons change your farm from spring blooms to winter snow.

Opening it the first time

It's a small indie game that isn't registered with Apple or Microsoft yet, so your computer asks once to make sure you trust it — totally safe. Here's the quick one-time step for each system.

On a Mac

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Silly Farmers into your Applications folder.
  2. The first time, right-click the app and choose Open — then click Open in the little popup.
  3. That's it! After that, just open it like any other app.

On Windows

  1. Open the downloaded .exe file.
  2. If a blue "Windows protected your PC" box appears, click More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Follow the quick installer and the game opens.

On Linux

  1. Download the .AppImage file.
  2. Right-click it → Properties → Permissions → tick "Allow executing file as program."
  3. Double-click it to play. (On Ubuntu you may need sudo apt install libfuse2 once.)
